Dictionary data
KTdict contains the data of CC-CEDICT and HanDeDict in a modified form. To fulfill the license requirements, the data are published here. Each ZIP-file archive contains four files for each language: The dictionary data as well as index files for English/German, Pinyin and Chinese characters.

Just wanted to let you know the dictionary definition for all saints day is actually for all souls day on the 2nd of nov. The Chinese characters literally also mean all souls day. The 1st of November is all saints day or all hallows day…. Which is why we have hallow ween or the eve of all hallows day on oct 31. All the best… And thanks for making learning Chinese easier and more fun

Just updated the dictionary from the Apple site to my ipad 1 and it will not function. The icon will open the program but it immediately closes again. I have deleted the program and reinstalled it, but it still won’t open. Suggestions?

Which iOS version are you using? KTdict runs fine on our iPad 1.
