Hi there. I prefer to leave you a comment here rather than leave you negative feedback on iTunes.
I purchased KTdict (English-Chinese) but have one major problem with it, which makes it useless for me: when I look up a word, I want to know what is the most common translation for that word. Here’s a typical example: yesterday I needed to use the word “jump” and looked it up on KTdict. It gives me 20-30 words for jump. I appreciate the detail, it is a great dictionary – but I needed to use the word “jump” and did not know which word to use. So I looked it up elsewhere and I found out the most common translation of jump is “tiao”. In this case, KTdict doesn’t help.
Thank you, feel free to remove my post once you’ve read it.

Thanks for your comment, which is quite useful. I agree, the search results for “jump” are really in a bad order – I’ll see what I can do for future versions.

I am a great fan of your C-E dictionary, but now I want to switch from iPhone to Galaxy S2. Do you have any plans to create your dictionary for Android?

E. markiert.

Hi Klaus, firstly i just want to say what a great app, thank you so much for developing it, well worth the purchase.
i was just wondering if I could make my trainer flashcard list more concise by changing the settings of all flashcard options at once. Namely, making all my cards only tested on the english side (they currently can be tested on english, chinese and pinyin methods). rather than doing this one card by one, i tried changing the file code which i imported from itunes, to 1,0,0 as opposed to 0,0,0. i then saved the changes and tried to import it back, but the differences did not appear on my list. is this normal (ie, is it possible to configure flashcards on a pc instead of an itouch / iphone?)
    thanks v much.

Easiest way to accomplish this is the following: Go into the settings dialog of KTdict (tap on settings on the main search screen). You will find there a setting “active front-sides”. If you disable Chinese and Pinyin, you will only be quizzed for English. Please note that this does not change your flashcards, but only the behavior of the trainer.

You can also export all Flashcards, edit on a computer e. g. in EXCEL or OpenOffice, delete all cards on your phone and import the modified cards back in. In the quiz columns, a “1″ corresponds to “yes”, a “0″ to “no”.

Hi, I really love this app. I am currently studying in Taiwan and it has been a life-saver on many occasions. I recently tried to use the trainer feature, but can’t get it to work properly. I have saved several flash cards, but when I go to train it will only give me one card then congratulate me and say I have finished. All of my cards are in box 0 and I set it to a max of 50 cards, but it just won’t work.

      Thanks for your feedback.

One question to narrow down your issue: When you start the daily set in the “Create Lesson” dialog, there is a text at the bottom. It says something like: “Draws 30 cards: 30 cards of 849 from box 0″. Can you check this and let me know what is written there?

I want to find out if the generation of the daily set is the problem or something else.
